BRIDGING FINANCE

Bridging finance is a short-term loan secured against your property until you either sell the property or arrange for a longer term alternative type of finance, such as a buy-to-let mortgage. It is typically used for speed and flexibility and can be used to purchase a property or release equity quickly.

Amadeus Wilson
Head of Short Term Finance
Amadeus started his career at SPF in 2013 having previously worked as a successful trader with experience in spread betting, equities, futures and Forex, dealing with professional and retail clients.

Often quoted in the financial press, Amadeus is well respected both within the industry and amongst clients. Having a strong background in the financial markets and term debt, enables him to provide a well-rounded service. He always put his client’s needs at the heart of what he does.

Jake Manns-Benson

Bridging & Development Adviser

Jake joined SPF in 2019 after being a successful mortgage adviser at another mortgage brokerage. Wanting to further his career and work within the specialist lending space, Jake embarked on a career with SPF.

Since joining SPF Jake has been a key member of the team successfully completing many large ticket transactions and building a strong network of clients and introducers. Jake’s key strengths are commercial and development finance, and larger bridging transactions.

Natalie Glover
Bridging & Development Adviser
Natalie joined the team in 2022 to further her career after 10 years’ experience heading up a small team of advisers at a previous master brokerage. She has a keen interest in development finance and commercial term, with in-depth knowledge of all other bridging. Natalie started her career in construction project management, working alongside developers on site. This unique experience has allowed her to build strong relationships with clients and she is well respected amongst peers in the industry.
Laura Toke
Bridging Relationship Director
Laura started her career in property finance in 2014 working for another high-net-worth brokerage, where she quickly obtained her CeMap qualifications and began advising on bridging and commercial loans. She joined SPF in 2015, attracted to their market leading reputation in the industry as a bridging broker and packager. Laura has advised on hundreds of transactions including auction, development finance and commercial loans. Laura is now a relationship director focusing on origination and introducer relationships.
Beth Banks
Client Relationship Manager
Beth started out in the mortgage industry in 2016, becoming part of the SPF Short Term Finance team in 2019 and passing her CeMap exams in 2021. A valuable member of the team, Beth supports the advisers within the team, chasing cases through to completion and liaising with clients to ensure they are kept up-to-date throughout the transaction.
Frank Clarke
Client Relationship Manager
Frank started his career at SPF in 2016 when he was just 17 years old. Having worked in the residential mortgages team for two years and obtaining his CeMap qualifications, Frank moved to the Short Term Finance team as he felt he would be well suited to the fast paced nature of bridging finance. Frank provides invaluable support to Amadeus and will look to take on an advisory role in years to come.
