Our Farms & Estates team have had a great start to the year, working on a number of interesting deals for a variety of clients. This deal was recently completed by Michael Lord, Head of Farms & Estates at SPF.
Mike says: “Financing a farm or country estate can be more complex than a standard residential mortgage. With this particular case, it was important to have flexible lump sum repayment options with no ERCs and to use a lender that was comfortable with multiple non-farming income streams, outside of the estate.”
