Antony started his financial services career in 1998 at Royal London as a Pension Technical Specialist, before spending time at Deloitte & Touché as a Business Review Consultant. He moved on to become a Pensions Technical Consultant at AWD Chase de Vere, before joining SPF in 2005.
Originally working as an Independent Financial Adviser, he now heads up the wider Financial Planning and Protection teams incorporating Retirement and Investment Strategies, Estate Planning, Inheritance Tax Planning, and the insurance services of the Protection team. He also continues to hold the status of Chartered Financial Planner.

James joined SPF in 1998 as a residential mortgage adviser and has amassed over 20 years working within SPF. Originally established as Savills Private Finance, James joined slightly after launch in 1997, he was a key member of the subsequent management buyout in 2011 which saw the business rebranded to SPF Private Clients.
Between 2003 and 2006 he left to work with both Cluttons and Hamptons International to establish their in-house financial services proposition, before returning in 2006.
As Managing Director James is responsible for a wide range of areas including Sales, Operations, Compliance and Marketing.

Marcus Hodges
Marcus joined SPF in 2001 with a background in property and insurance. He moved to Dubai with his young family last year where he established SPF's UAE Office, focusing on providing mortgages to UAE residents and non-residents purchasing or refinancing residential property in the UAE.
He also has a wider role growing operations in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as overseeing the mortgage teams in the UK. Prior to this Marcus was Head of Mortgages as well as running his own book of International Private Clients. Marcus has a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management.
Mark Harris
Mark started his career in banking at National Westminster Bank in 1985, before training as an independent financial adviser. Enjoying the mortgage aspect of the role, he left to become an independent mortgage broker before joining Savills PLC in 1997 as part of the launch team tasked with establishing Savills Private Finance.
Mark was promoted to managing director at the end of 2001 and under his stewardship the business expanded rapidly and profitably diversifying into areas such as international mortgages, commercial funding, wealth management and property insurance. Following the financial crisis Mark led a management buyout in 2011 and the re-branding of the business to SPF Private Clients. In 2022 SPF Private Clients became part of the Howden Group, and Mark continues to lead SPF post the acquisition. He is a member of the Howden UK&I Exco, and also chairs the Howden Private Clients global practice.

Matt’s career began in insurance broking, joining Endsleigh Insurance in 2000 as a Finance apprentice. In 2018 he became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) following the acquisition A-Plan from Zurich. It was during this time as CFO that Endsleigh was acquired by Howden, as part of the A-Plan Group acquisition in 2021.
Following the acquisition of SPF Private Clients by Howden in 2022, Matt moved to take up the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at SPF. He now leads the financial side of the business as it looks to continue to grow and maximize its potential as part of the wider Howden Group.

Mike joined the Prudential as a financial consultant after graduating from Manchester University with a degree in Economics. He moved onto mortgage brokerage John Charcol before leaving to join the launch team of Savills Private Finance in 1997.
Whilst Mike still actively writes business he also leads the SPF Private Office, as well as being on the board of SPF Private Clients UK and SPF Private Clients Channel Islands.
He is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the private and offshore banks that service the high-net-worth market.

Richard Lowe
Richard joined SPF in 1999, shortly after the creation of Savills Private Finance. He set up the original Insurance services proposition in 1999, which has grown over 25 years to incorporate General, Commercial and Legal Indemnity insurances.
Richard specialises in Legal Indemnity insurances, particularly Rights of Light as well as other Title matters and Real Estate, Construction and General Commercial Insurances.

Rob began his property career in 2001 at a real estate agency in Kent, gaining a solid foundation in all areas of residential sales and client service. In 2011, he joined Berkeley Homes, where he progressed to become Head of International Client Relations & Business Development. There, he played a key role in expanding and maintaining the company’s global client base and driving international investment into UK property.
Rob then joined SPF as Global Business Development Director, where he leads international growth efforts and forges strategic relationships across sectors. With over two decades of industry experience, he combines deep market knowledge with a strong focus on client needs and long-term partnerships.

Since then, his role has expanded to include Complaints, T&C, Data Protection and Security. In 2022 he also took responsibility for Product Governance.
