What we arranged:
Our consultant had been in regular contact with the client as he knew that his existing fixed rate was due to expire at the end of the year. With the client's loan-to-value (LTV) exceeding 90% remortgage options were very limited. However, at short notice, the clients existing lender brought out a competitive "product transfer" which would require no further underwriting. Within 48 hours, the clients current circumstances had been thoroughly reviewed and a new product was lined up to ensure that he was on the most suitable mortgage.
