History
Savills Private Finance (SPF) is one of the UK’s leading independent mortgage brokers. Formed in 1997 by an original team of six brokers after Savills decided it made sense to arrange mortgage finance in-house rather than farming it out, SPF traditionally focuses on the upper end of the market where the Savills brand is positioned.
Under the stewardship of managing director Mark Harris, the business has expanded rapidly. SPF is one of the few truly national brokerages. It has offices throughout England and the Channel Islands.
The business has diversified into international mortgages, the affordable sector – via subsidiary SPF Sherwins – and commercial and general insurance. There is also a wealth management division, which can advise on investments, retirement planning and inheritance tax planning.
